Part Painting, Part Sculpture.
Using mostly reclaimed wood sources, Art 153’s wood flag assemblages are created with 39 individual pieces to form the overall flag layout. From there, the “canvas” is painted with acrylic paint using a variety of techniques to create an individual and unique piece.
These paintings can transform any room with their bold style and presence.
Using wood with its three-dimensional properties, these paintings go beyond a traditional canvas work and create a piece that is part painting and part sculpture.
